In order to really clean the water, LIQA® uses the advantages of UV-C technology. This was integrated into the cap of the drinking water bottle. When UV light is absorbed, it breaks the chemical bonds in DNA. In this way, viruses, bacteria or fungi are deactivated and infection by unwanted germs is prevented.
The UV-C purification process of water does not change its physiochemical composition. This means that viruses, bacteria and microbes are removed without adding products that are harmful to health or that can alter the taste.

I have already tested the product on a hiking trip. No annoying lugging of water, but refill directly to every stream and fountain (no drinking water written), where I would not normally drink. Activating the bottle works very easily and well. Since I have never had any complaints, I am fully convinced of the product and now even use it in everyday life to neutralize tap water. The product is good and the idea is good too, but I have two small concerns if it weren't possible to make a double-walled bottle so that it would stay nice and cold and an on/off switch so that it doesn't always start cleaning itself that would be great

Wie oft muss die Aurora by LIQA™ aufgeladen werden? Woran erkenne ich, dass die Batterie schwach ist?
Eine Ladung hält bis zu 10 Tage und wird bequem über Micro-USB aufgeladen. Dies basiert auf einer geschätzten Nutzung von 2-3 Zyklen pro Tag. Wenn deine Batterie schwach ist, blinkt Ihre Kappe rot. Der Bildschirm schaltet sich ab, wenn der Akku vollständig entladen ist. Für eine neuerliche Verwendung, bitte aufladen.
Wie aktiviere ich den Reinigungprozess?
Prozess der Wasserreinigung
1. Die Aurora-Flasche bis zur maximalen Füllmarkierung mit Wasser* - wie auf der Flaschenabbildung gezeigt - befüllen.
2. Die Aurora-Flasche mit der Aurora-Kappe verschließen. Mit einem Doppelklick auf das Touch Display drücken, um den Reinigungsprozess zu starten.
3. Das weiße und blaue Licht wird 180 Sekunden lang leuchten.
4. Genieße frisches, gereinigtes Wasser, wenn das Licht aus ist.
